7 Keto Boxed Lunch Recipes To Lose Weight

I’m not sure about you, but sometimes I pack boxed lunches to work. Not because I love doing it (I actually do), but it’s a really great alternative to the high-carb junk food you find outside. Having your own boxed lunches also mean you get to have a tight control over what you eat, and it also helps you to stick to your diet.

Have you ever packed boxed lunches before? If not, you should definitely give these a try! The main idea around boxed lunches is that they have to be quick to prepare, easy to store, and easy to eat. Ideally, you would want a recipe where it doesn’t necessarily require you to have a microwave oven or even a fridge on hand. That’s because sometimes we are out and about and do not have such facilities available.

All we really need would be a thermal lunch box that you can find anywhere online or in stores. I’ve tried this Columbia thermal lunch box before, and it’s a convenient one to have as it allows you to keep your food warm for up to 4 hours!

But what’s really important is that you would also ideally want to plan out your meals for the week. One big reason why is that I realised that when I didn’t plan at the start, I had a couple of leftovers because I was only preparing these boxes for myself. By planning your meals for the week, it means that you’ll be better able to utilise and maximise your ingredients with little to no waste.

Psst.. planning out your meals also gives you a better bird’s eye view of your diet plans, and maximise your weight loss journey.

If you’re new to the Keto diet, and are unsure what it means. I’d suggest you to head over to Keto 101 to learn more about what the diet entails, and what benefits you can reap from it. In short, anyone on a Keto diet would want to consume meals that are high-fat, high-protein, and low-carbs. This is a popular diet option to lose weight quickly without sacrificing access to tasty foods.

An Asian dish to start your week. That doesn’t sound so bad for variety. What I really like is the freshness of this. Even after it was in that box for a couple of hours. Its taste never faltered.

It tastes as delicious as it looks. Trust me on this. I appreciate the fact that this recipe uses chicken breast. Remember: if you should choose to use any protein in your recipe, I would always suggest you to choose a lean option.

Nothing could be simpler than this recipe. This features 3 main ingredients: cherry tomatos, asparagus and shrimps. Needless to say, its convenience is why I’m recommending it on this list.

But the draw about this recipe is that it looks so simple, and yet so tasty. Please tend to discount simple recipes because it gives them the false idea that it wouldn’t taste as rich and as flavourful. Give this a shot and let me know what you think.

Steak Stir Fry

I absolutely love stir-frys. They’re a great method of cooking that emphasis sautéing over high heat. Stir frys also mean you can toss every ingredient into the same wok or pan at the same time. The heat would help to gel the flavours from the different ingredients, and infuse every element with the wonderful flavours of stir fry.

They say that the bottom of the work after a stir fry tastes the best. It’s up to you to find out if that’s true.
